Playstation VR Bundle – 2020

Playstation VR got launched in December 2019 and it’s one of the best-selling VR headsets ever. Initially, it was available in the European territories only.

Playstation VR houses a collection of PS VR games in addition to the headset. The PS VR bundle costs 29,836 INR. Considering that it ships with five games makes it a better deal than the PS VR Camera set.

How does the PS VR (Mega Pack) work?

Like any other VR Headsets available out there, PS VR has the arduous task of immersing you in a video game. It produces two images at the same time and then sends them to a headset placed a few feet away.

Unlike other competing headsets that require expensive graphic cards, PS VR can do it using Playstation 4’s inbuilt GPU.

It does so by using the Playstation Camera to track 9 distinct points of light in the headset. Additionally, it uses the lights on either the DualShock 4 or move controllers based on the video game you’re playing.

It’s astonishingly accurate driven by the fact that it uses a single camera to track what’s happening. As Sony uses a single camera, it’s harder for PS4 to track your movement than it is for HTC VIVE.

If you’re more specific about it, PS VR handles 1080p games on its 920 by 1080 OLED Display at either 120 Hz or 90 Hz depending on the VR apps or games.

Those numbers are great, but they’re the same like Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. However, the only advantage than Sony PS4 has that neither HTC nor Oculus can allege is that it’s a worldwide game publisher.
