Amazon Echo Show 8 Review (2020)
E-commerce giant Amazon has truly impressed us with its Smart Display Series. Second Generation Echo Show (Rs 8,999) offers powerful sound and is priced reasonably. Echo Show comes with a 10-inch display.
Echo Show 5 with a smaller screen (5-inch) is perfect for nightstands. The all-new Echo Show 8 sits between the two models in terms of price, features, size, and power.
Echo Show 8 comes with an 8-inch display and stereo speakers that eclipses Show 5 and comes close to the full-sized Echo Show. Show 8 offers a perfect blend of features and design perks to justify its existence.
Appearance
Echo Show 8 is a smaller version of Echo Show 8 or a slightly larger version of Show 5. All these three devices share the same shape, trapezoidal front section covering the speaker drivers.
The exclusivity of Echo Show 8 is the camera placement and screen size. The top edge of Echo Show 8 has two pinholes, Volume Up/Down and Mic Mute Buttons. The gadget includes a connector, a micro USB port and a 3.5 mm AUX sound output.
Echo Show 8 features an 8-inch LCD with 1280 by 800 screen resolution as Echo Show 10. It has a bright and colorful display coupled with 2.0-inch drivers each powered up to 10 Watts.
